As the Camp Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our surf camp, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience. You will be the main point of contact for guests from the moment their booking is confirmed until their departure, ensuring they have the best surfing holiday possible. Your role will encompass managing staff, overseeing financial performance, coordinating activities, and maintaining the camp.

Key Duties:

• Guest Experience:
  • Ensure guests have the best time of their lives and memorable surfing holiday.
  • Address and resolve any guest issues or concerns promptly.
  • Facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes.
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Staff Management:
  • Hire, Supervise, motivate, and support camp staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Organize staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all camp activities.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.
• Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor and report financial performance.
  • Manage camp budgets, expenses, and financial records.
  • Handle bookings, enquiries, and payments efficiently.
• Operations Coordination:
  • Plan and coordinate the weekly schedule, including surf lessons, non-surf activities, and meal times.
  • Supervise daily meal services, ensuring quality and satisfaction.
  • Oversee camp maintenance and ensure facilities are well-kept throughout the season.
  • Implement goals and initiatives

This role is for you if:

• You have a strong experience in Hotel operations, customer service & tourism.
• You have excellent organizational and multitasking skills - this role is full 360 and very hands on.
• You have proven experience managing staff and are good managing people from all walks of life.
• You are confortable with a high intensity role.
• You are good with Spreadsheets and Google Docs.
• You are fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
