At Blue Waves Surf House, we create unforgettable surf & yoga experiences that build community and respect nature. Our boutique, eco-friendly surf houses are a place where guests come to enjoy a unique blend of surf culture and genuine hospitality.
As a Social Host, your main mission is to keep our guests happy, stoked, and engaged throughout their stay. You will be the heart and soul of the camp, spreading good vibes, creating connections, and ensuring that everyone feels included in the Blue Waves community. You will work closely with the Camp Manager to support daily operations and activities, making sure our guests have the time of their lives
Key Duties:
- Guest Experience:
- Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel at home from day one.
- Socialize, engage, and connect with guests to ensure they have an unforgettable experience.
- Host daily dinner with guests
- Assist in organizing, executing, and promoting activities both on-site and around the area.
- Facilitate weekly restaurant outings and other events, including reservations and logistics.
- Camp Support:
- Support the Camp Manager in carrying out weekly tasks and activity schedules.
- Help keep the camp areas tidy, organized, and beautifully decorated.
- Community Engagement:
- Foster a sense of community among guests, creating friendships and a positive camp vibe.
- Actively participate in the life and activities of the camp & guest outings
- Share your passion for surf culture and the local environment with guests.

- You have an outgoing and approachable personality: You’re a natural connector and love meeting new people.
- You have a passion for surfing: Experience in surfing and surf culture is a big plus.
- You want to spend a winter season in Sri Lanka: You want to have time for yourself and have a good time living in Sri Lanka in our beautiful camp.
- You are adaptable and flexible: Comfortable handling different tasks in a dynamic environment.
- You are a good communicator: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- You are a team player: Ability to work well with others, support the Camp Manager, and motivate guests.
